End of 2024 was great for Bitcoin because BTC was hit all time high 1,00000$, but you can't say that 2024 was amazing year for altcoins, even after such BTC improved but there are no significant growth in altcoins price if comparing Bitcoin price. Bitcoin still very expensive but altcoins are dumping.
2024 was a great year for altcoins but not all altcoins in general. Did you follow Solana, did you see what Solana did last year? I don't think among all the top and big altcoins in the market last season had an incredible moments like Solana last season and till now it's still very bullish altcoin just that FTX distribution announcement has made it looks less interesting because of billions of sol that will be given to affected customers which is likely going to affect the market after.
There are some other altcoins that had great run last year, even the ones that were new like hyperliquid, there was a lot of money made from that coin. What I think is that we might see a general rise in altcoins again because I think there are too much number of altcoins in the crypto market and there even more bunch of altcoins that are launch every day. Fir instance, meme coins launched atleast 100 meme coins everyday on pump fun and only few make sense, this has made liquidity very shortage in the market.
