You are right because we cannot expect better batting from Bangladesh. The Bangladesh Premier League ended a few days ago and no improvement has been seen in the Bangladesh players since then. The way the top order batsmen failed against India yesterday makes no sense to give BPL by running out of money from BPL. However, such a bad situation in Bangladesh no longer shocks Bangladeshi supporters, rather, Bangladeshi fans have become accustomed to watching all these games.
Although the Bangladesh Premier League is one of the oldest franchise T20 leagues, it hasn't achieved good quality standards. But the BPL is far better when compare it with the domestic 4-day tournament in Bangladesh. They have a regional domestic setup, which was rolled out a few years ago. But the competition is dominated by Dhaka based players, and therefore there is not much interest from the fans outside the capital. And as I said, the quality is very poor. Unless the BCB comes up with a proper solution, the performance of the Bangladesh team is not going to improve.
