Manchester City was eliminated from the champions league last night and for this very season we all saw it coming because no amount of change of play Pep Guardiola would use that can give him that chance of qualifying to the next round. On Sunday Manchester City will be hosting an angry side, Liverpool who haven't been getting the point they needed and is like from fry pan to fire for City, no time to give the manager a time to digest the defeat from Madrid, talking about Pep City's manager.

On paper, Liverpool should easily beat City (after all, Liverpool was able to beat even Real in the Champions League), but in reality it will be difficult to do so, since Liverpool is no less tired than City after the game with Aston Villa. Plus, for City, this is a home game, so bookmakers are quoting this match as follows:

2.84 - 3.80 - 2.32

Personally, from the real ones for cash bets, I only see BTTS and possibly Total Over (City has a leaky defense).

From what you said is like you are directing the whole thing to end in a draw, it can happen that way but I have this feeling that Manchester City are going to beat Liverpool that's if they are ready to coordinate themselves ahead of that encounter because I see City as a team that are trying to impress in big games and at the same time they make mistakes. We know the Citizens as a team who likes to dominate every games and make their opponent feel the heat but look at them now, they can't even endure a 5mins pressure without making a silly mistake. I can't point out the favorite in this game but I can tell you for sure that Liverpool are losing all 3pt.
We cannot see them dominating much this season due to the weaknesses of City players and their mistakes. We have seen that the performance of City players was not very good, due to which they were forced to lose their trophies in both the Champions League and the Premier League. However, since the next match will be against Liverpool, it will definitely be an exciting match, here City will definitely attack the opposing team at the highest level. Moreover, since the game will be held at City's ground, Liverpool will try to play under more pressure, and there is a high chance of Liverpool losing here. Moreover, according to the betting odds, the gap between the two teams is not very high, so we can pretty much ensure that City can get 3 points at home.

Right from when Liverpool played Everton last week Wednesday I saw that pressure with the side and they can't hide it when they played Aston Villa few days back, you could see the Reds playing under pressure even the defense is not balanced, going to the Etihad will definitely be a place where they need to be careful and converting all chances they have because if City get any little opportunity they will find the ball at the back of the net and Pep will try his best to win this game to extend their stay at the top 4 and losing all 3pt won't be healthy for the league leaders. I'm not expecting much in this game but I feel the battle will be more in the midfield and I'll give it to City to dominate the midfield, Liverpool haven't been consistent when it comes to the midfielders dominating any game but Sunday will speak for it self.
Liverpool's concentration is still divided for the Domestic League and the Champions League, but if you look at Liverpool's record from 5 matches they have not experienced defeat, only 3 wins and 2 draws, of course that was when they were held to a draw by Aston Villa, Erveton of course it became a polemic in the Liverpool camp, their loss of concentration in important matches at least did not lose so many points, although some competitors are also far behind by the points obtained by Liverpool, it seems that Liverpool will take advantage of the moment to beat Man City at home because Man City is performing poorly in several matches and plus they are also eliminated from the Champions League this season, of course that is an opportunity for Liverpool.
