The increase and the decrease we see in the market are usually cause by factors and that has been the way Bitcoin is made to be which is called volatility, it can never be a one sided thing but to what extent one can occur is what can not be completely certain and guaranteed, saying Bitcoin will never decrease sound so badly and can be misleading and also more like a traders mindset than investing because Bitcoin is already known for it's volatility nature between time and seasons. We have the bear and the bull season.
I agree with you, for someone to say that Bitcoin we keep increasing and not decrease is a very wrong statement to me, which can also be misleading, because if bitcoin keep increasing we will only have the bull run season which is inappropriate. for bitcoin to get good balance and still maintain it store of value there have to be both the bull season and the bear season, because of it Volatility, bitcoin increasing without decrease we make bitcoin no longer have store of value.

You don't understand the meaning of when they say an asset is a store of value and is not because that asset price goes up and down. Is land properties and real estate not a store of value. Do their price go down and pump like bitcoin, NO. Because land properties are not volatile asset.
The meaning of store of value is an asset that will not depreciate in value due to inflation but will always keep its value no matter how high inflation level is for example gold. That asset can also appreciate in value overtime.
If he should seek an asset to imply as a store of value, then i would not just negotiate into Bitcoin, I prefer people seeing Bitcoin as an investment rather than a store of value, especially to those who are not amenable to the long term gain, any involvement into Bitcoin as a store of value needs some level of expertise considering that the price will certainly appreciate but may not get the full amounts at when due from a cause of volatility which is a compulsory instinct for the market.
