Deepseek has been making headlines lately, especially after reports that it disrupted the AI industry and triggered an AI stocks selloff in the US. However, despite the hype, its long-term success seems uncertain, given that several countries have already banned it.
With this growing list of bans, do you think Deepseek has a real shot at success?
I believe this is not the first time we are having new technology in the system and it's been difficult for acceptance and usage by most countries so therefore the ban of deep seek in most of this countries mentioned isn't new to me and I don't see it that data privacy can actually be a medium to limits it's reach cause alot of technologies are still trying to do better, But despite that deep seek would be slow to progress but in time everything will be okay cause all of the new technologies follows the same process before arriving to the very state they are in now. But with the Us as head of this I find it very difficult to believe it could survive as well.
