You are getting it all wrong here. Bitcoin always increases over time and it has been doing that since it existence. The reason why you disagree with the statement is because you are looking at Bitcoin with a short term perspective. Even in bear seasons where Bitcoin dips it always recovers after some year and it recovers way higher that what it has always been. This is why long term holders always win and that is the point this guy was trying to make. When you look at Bitcoin with a long term mindset you surely understand that Bitcoin price has been going up over time, the lows are usually higher than the previous lows, and the highs reach new ATH almost every cycle.

For you to understand better check Bitcoin history and tell me what you see;

Simply look at the trendlines in the chart, since Bitcoin came out till date the chart has gone up it never goes below its previous price over the years. Just a simple chart to make you understand how Bitcoin increases over time.

You have said it all my friend, Bitcoin is steadily on the rise and nothing is disputing that fact , and the historical price chart here says it all, the major problem why he is arguing is that he is looking at it from a low timeframe, which is quite myopic too me.
Just look at the bigger picture and how far Bitcoin has grown over the years, you wouldn't be saying what you are saying now, and I am very much positive that due to the huge potential of Bitcoin, it can go as high as a million dollar or more in like 10 to 20 years time from now, so it's steadily on the rise, just that he is too myopic to notice it.
