The performance from Mbappe yesterday was the best performance he has had in Real Madrid since moving in for me because he was terrorizing the Manchester City defense from the beginning of the game to the end. I think the early goal he scored with his first attempt affected his confidence positively and set the tone for the game. Mbappe with his increasing confidence is already raising the bar for himself and distinguishing himself from his teammates scoring in almost every game for Real Madrid, flourishing as a striker, a position which he was not playing exactly before. He played from the wing not the middle.
Kylian Mbappe had a slow start when he joined Real Madrid this season, I’m glad that he has begun to showcase why he is regarded as one of the top talents in world football. I didn’t think he would score a hat-trick in the against Manchester City while playing in an unfamiliar role.
