It's happened to me a few times that I've overlooked the date, but most people don't read anything other than the title or the last post before responding. Unfortunately, this is the reality on this forum, more and more spam, writing without reading previous posts and the use of AI even from members from whom it would not be expected.
It happens, you might miss it sometimes but one should at least read all the posts on the last page to find out what's happening before writing something, but most people don't do that and that's a problem we see all around the forum these days. AI on the other hand is another illness the forum is having to deal with.
The proof is that after three posts warning that this topic is almost 6 years old, new "geniuses" come along who just want to fill their weekly quota as soon as possible.
