In the case of Amorim, I think it is obvious that he has a plan and a style which clearly the current players don’t fit in. Amorim needs fresh legs and players that will fit into his style which means signings need to happen and this kind of overhaul cannot be effectively carried out through a January transfer window. I expected the club’s management to instruct Amorim to stall his style for the moment since he doesn’t have the players to execute it.
Perfectly said, the problem of Manchester United is no longer a coach issue but players and truly, Amorim needs new tacticians that can match up his energy because this is a coach that was successful at Sporting Lisbon before coming to Manchester United so he basically needs players that can equate his energy and not all these lazy poor players that are contributing less to the well-being of the club. It's time to let go of unproductive players and bring in fresh blood who are eager to move the team forward.
At this time surviving relegation should be the ultimate goal.
That's the only task that Amorim needs to target because it's obvious that we can't expect any reliable change from the club due to their poor performance so escaping relegation will sure be a miracle then from next season, the coach can start the operation of recruiting new talents and dismissing players that are not resourceful to the team. Manchester United is a big team in England but it's unfortunate how the club have dropped immensely for some seasons and it's hard to still refer to them as a big team considering their level of performance. It's time to make this right for the club and i believe with Amorim, the club can reach a greater height.
