It’s been some of the easiest way for newbie programmers in cryptocurrency and I mean that in the sense of the word, it’s been a way to reap genuine investors and those that hopes to get something out of cryptocurrency without really knowing what cryptocurrency is about in the space. Even then, you still find people who are more than willing to go with it, given that they still find it cheap.
If your to look at it, it’s not as cheap as they really think, you have lots of analysis on them coins to do which might still not be right and you end up buying one crap after the other, throwing good money in a bad project when, you could have just been buying Bitcoin using DCA and hold.

Agreed here.
Better not to throw your money, but to do so in such a way that you won't throw them away basically, but invest in something that was tested already and is trustworthy by the people and institutions alike.
Investing in bitcoin is not a waste of money it is a good and reliable way to invest in a valuable currency. The price of Bitcoin may be high but if you invest according to your needs the risk will be lower than other currencies. But before investing you should do your research and consider your risk tolerance. If you are interested in investing in bitcoin it would be right to hold it for the long term.
There's no need of doing any research before investing in bitcoin. Since you already know that bitcoin is a long-term asset, you should just get started right away with part of your discretionary income and keep accumulating more bitcoin every week regularly, consistently and persistently for 4-10 years and above. During this period of accumulation, you can make the research and learn whatever you feel is important for you to know. But the most important thing is for you to get started immediately without wasting time. Delay is dangerous.

Figuring out how much of your discretionary income that you will enable you buy bitcoin regularly weekly with DCA overtime, having an emergency and investing in a long term will limit the risk in bitcoin investment.
