Data privacy/Security is serious concern in every country and that's why governments are taking every measure to stop data leakage. But DeepSeek is still available for public use in major countries. If it can improve its performance in comparison to ChatGPT then it's usage will increase rather then going down.

China is a country that loves to invest in other countries but it's doors are closed for other countries apps (like google, Youtube etc). This can be one factor that major countries can ban China backed DeepSeek in future. Recent example is TikTok ban in USA.
