Asides last season, in tha past 5 seasons Bayern Munich has been at the top of their domestic league and now they have been able to get back to the top of the table and are even looking at possibly winning the league title by the end of the season as they are leading by a very large margin than others on the table except for Leverkusen who is trying so hard to defend the title. But then this season their points on the table isn't looking like they will be able to really beat Munich to winning the title again this season.
If Munich can perform consistently in the remaining matches this season, they will win the Bundesliga trophy. The difference of 8 points does seem far, I hope Munich can perform consistently and win this season. Leverkusen lost some points in matches they should have won and ended up with more draws. Munich did not repeat last season's mistakes by losing many points, but on the contrary, Leverkusen did not appear as dominant and strong as last season which was undefeated.
I don't think Bayern will want to come this far with this point gap just to start performing poorly so as to reduce their point. Bayern is still the Bayern we have known from previous seasons. The only difference is that Leverkusen has improved their game to appear a little bit challenging to Bayern but I doubt if they will be much of a problem.
Bayern might not end the season with the 8 points they have currently but I am certain they can't lose points to the extent they relinquish their position to Leverkusen, I am just convinced they will do their best to maintain their position till the end of season
