Yes, it is best to build a plan that is mostly directed at prevention such as setting limits on the amount of bets, setting limits on your expectations of winning and also maintaining discipline and awareness and being responsible, that is the main task of gamblers rather than focusing too much on things to increase the chances of winning, I really understand that getting money is very fun but the problem here is that we never know about what can guarantee victory, so it is better to focus on minimizing the possibility of risk, or making everything balanced is better.

I will always advise gamblers especially those who are not well experienced yet to reduce their expectations and set limitations to their gambles because gambling is something that comes with euphoria of its own for most people and it ends up making them to take decisions that end up frustrating them and losing their incomes on gambling without any profits. If I have my way, I would advise any novice who's just going into gambling to remove profit making completely out of their calculations and take gambling solely as a fun game to do. When you gamble for fun, it makes you not only reduce your expectations but also expenses on the gambled games. It helps the person involved to grow with a minimum risk and less greed. The individual should practice this for quite a long period of time, while investing the very little they can during the process.
