Highly agree, at least on a personal level. I've had that weird ass feeling before when I was job hunting that I am kind of entitled to this much because, well, these people get that much or earn that much even though they aren't exactly even on the same field lol. And are even more experienced than me. I guess knowing was kind of a poison or something? Like it just made me think of the idea that I'm not below them at all, subjectively sadly hence why it's pretty much a useless idea lmao.

Granted it is still a lot harder to make a living now compared to the past. While yes there's also a lot more opportunities, god the competition just turned from your neighbors to the entire world in the span of a decade or two imo.
