Arsenal just missed a good opportunity to get close to Liverpool, even though they were playing at home, but they were really bad today. It looks like this season will be Liverpool's because I doubted that Arsenal would be able to give Liverpool a fight as they haven't won a trophy for a long time, so maybe they don't have the champion mentality anymore. Besides that, I think Arsenal must have realized that they don't have a reliable striker, but strangely they haven't tried to make changes.
I wouldn’t look up to Arsenal to be title contenders, no. They’ve still got what they’ve got which hits them once the league is about coming to an end, you find an Arsenal team that was doing great starts to fumble. Even if they managed to have come closer to Liverpool, they still wouldn’t be able to capitalize on those little moments that matters to secure the trophy. See them loosing today in a home game that you would expect them to win or at most, share points.
