Yesterday's game, Al Nassr Vs Al Ettifaqif the home side had won this game yesterday they would have been on the advantage side because both first placed team and second placed team is playing right now. Out of these three things one must happen, either Al Hilal wins or Al Littihad wins or the both play out an outright draw. So either ways it helps Al Nassr close in on any of the two teams. But surprisingly they blew that chance away and lost at home yesterday.
At the end, Al Ittihad still thrashed Al Hilal which means that if Al Nassr had won their game yesterday, they would've still been 8 points behind Al Ittihad after today's game between the top two teams however, it would've increased Al Nassr chances of finishing the season in the second position ahead of Al Hilal and Al Qadisiyah. Personally, I feel there's nothing stopping Al Ittihad from winning the Saudi Pro League title this season after they humiliated a top side like Al Hilal this weekend. So I think the competition among the second placed Al Hilal, third placed Al Qadisiyah and third fourth placed Al Nassr now is to fight for who will finish the season as runners-up to Al Ittihad.
