Just give up HODLING and admit you have been taken for a ride by some big spenders, it will not go up for atleast another year.
you make it sound like holding an investment for one year to see gains (and if bitcoin's past is any indication... huge gains) is a valid reason to just give up 
I'd hold for 10 years to get the kind of returns bitcoin saw last year!
hopefully you won't have to but I plan on giving BTC away in my will. I may sell some over the next few years, but I'll be hodling some BTC until my death or it's death, whichever comes first.
