Chelsea currently has a manager with a championship mentality. Manager is supposed to enforce standards in a team but Maresca doesn't seem to have any. Chelsea have lost many points this season despite being the first to score. I would advise Chelsea and their fans to lower their expectations in order to have peace of mind because nothing is working right for them again and even the players have lost their confidence. Did you not notice how Palmer had six to seven touches on a spot looking back and forth before passing it backward just before Villa equaliser? It shows what Chelsea have reduced themselves to now.

Imagine them being ahead with a goal and already begging for final whistle when it was not even yet 60 minutes. Palmer probably doesn't want to play for Chelsea again because he's now fond of slowing down their attack and constant back pass that put the team in danger most of the time.
