With the news of a serious hack on bybit a popular exchange wallet most us here uses, even though it has nothing to do with bitcoin directly yet I find it necessary to remind you all that leaving your coins or assets in an exchange wallet is a big red flag and for every reason always find a way to move your coins to a safe open source wallets.

Coin security should be a priority. buy bitcoin and never leave them on an exchange wallet or any wallet that does not guarantee good percentage of security.
Even without this hack that happened, it has never been a good idea to leave your assets in exchanges. It has always been said here time without numbers. I don't know why some people will have ears but they don't want to use it and listen. It doesn't really matter if it was bitcoin or not. The message is clear don't store your assets in exchanges. These exchanges will promise you 100% security, just to lure you to believing in them. The will also convince you that they will refund you if hacks happens. But for your own good, please don't store your assets in exchanges. It's better to have your assets with you than waiting for any promises of refunds which may never happen. Let's learn from other people's mistakes and don't wait to be a victim before you will learn.
