The word 'manufacture' is generally used for creating things on a large scale using machinery, or even if there is no machinery involved, the things being made would usually have a physical existence, which is not the case with Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies.

Yep, that era never ended, nor will it. Times will change, generations will change, but some things will always be there, and this is probably one of those things.
