In the same senerio case most times it becomes very hard for a drunk man to accept the very fact that he is drunk, so many got cut up in to addiction without realizing it early because to you it may feel that you are getting better part of the game and there is nothing absolutely wrong with your approach and not until it takes or influences your overall life activities, surely identifying ones problem of addiction is one thing and the another thing is seeking for the right solution, so many has languished in silence of their problem without speaking out for help, caution should be our watch word.
What's so difficult about it? If a person has consumed alcohol, then he will be drunk, no matter how much, the most important thing is that under the influence of alcohol he will already be more relaxed and his decisions may be far from what they would be in a sober state. I believe that this should be one of the main rules for a player, no gambling if you have consumed alcohol, these things should be separated, so that it does not lead to something big that you will later regret.
Though, it would be important to point out there are gamblers who (even knowing they may take bad choices if they are intoxicated) consider to be alcohol an enhancer of their gambling experience and that is why they seek for casinos and gambling floors which specifically offer free alcohol to their gamblers. It is pretty much a double-edged sword.
In the best case a gambler would never need to drink alcohol to feel their are having a good time putting their money at risk, but let's us face reality: it is pretty difficult to turn away free drinks when the house realize you are already becoming a profitable gambler (for the house itself).
It is not bad to drink when one is at the casino, but I would not drink and gamble at the same time, it is calling for losses to come and not being able to quit when one needs to, money chasing combined with alcohol can be deadly for anyone's finances.
