On what grounds do you conclude that gambling is currently attracting children? I am in contact with a lot of people and I have never heard any of them say that their child has a gambling problem. There are problems with some children being addicted to donating to various computer games, some are seen using vapes, but no one has ever told me that any of their children are addicted to sports betting, dice or slots.
This will depends on where we live.
If you live first world countries, it's less likely you will see children have gambling problem because teenagers can make money by get part time jobs.
But, in third world countries, many people are struggling and there are not much jobs open. It means they don't have many opportunity to make money and due to live in bad environment, it leads them to make money from gambling.
