The match was a tough one, Newcastle were able to secure 4 goals in the first half of the match, I was just surprise how their performance dropped in the second half of the match, and they couldn’t even score any goal in the second half of the match, Nottingham forest gave Newcastle difficult moment in the second half of the match, Newcastle were just lucky that Nottingham forest were not able to equalize before the final whistle was blown.
Newcastle scored 4 goals in the first half of the match, am just surprise that they allowed Nottingham forest score two goals in the second half of the match, without adding more goals, seriously Newcastle were just lucky to get a win in the match, and I was not even impressed with the way Newcastle played in the second half of the match.
They felt relaxed after scoring four goals in the first half of the match, they may have thought that Nottingham Forest will feel bad about the outcome of the first half result and won’t put much effort in the second half to secure a win in the match. Newcastle have forgotten that Nottingham Forest’s position necessitates them to play better as a team and secure every win they can because it’ll affect them on the position on the table. It was such a tough game that if they had gotten more time, they might have equalized all games and we will see Newcastle ending the game in a draw or a loss after scoring four goals in the first half of the game. I am really impressed by the performance of Nottingham Forest, they’ve indeed shown that they’re ready to contest and finish the game in the top four position on the table.
