They didn’t have a bad play even. They had 2 goals without reply from Girona and was dominant all game. That’s what you would expect of a Real Madrid team and that’s what they delivered as well. More goals; possible but 2 goals is enough as well.

The fans wasn’t held back on honoring Carvaja with a cheer when he was flashed on camera and even with Jude Bellingham being out, he was so impressed with his team especially, Luka’s goal that got the entire stadium gasping for breath.
Luka’s goal was truly impressive, I couldn’t follow the match but the goal is all over internet and social media, especially considering his age and he continues to achieve what many younger players struggle to do. The goal was not only a perfect shot but also a crucial solution for Real Madrid to secure the three important points and maintaining their intensity in the race for the top spot in the standings.
This result keeps Barcelona from taking leadership for themselves only, at least for now, leaving the battle for the trophy still open. It is very likely that El Clasico will be the decisive match in determining who will keep the trophy this season.

Meanwhile, I felt that Real Madrid is showing significant improvement defensively after suffering some harsh losses including a painful defeat against Barcelona. Their defensive adjustments are becoming useful against most opponents. Moreover, for me I consider this good upgrade is from players mainly and not Ancelotti who likes to keep one gameplay strategy even while losing matches.
