Generally Manchester City played in the match but Liverpool won. After scoring two goals in the first half, they kept the game well and remained resilient in defense. Liverpool took a huge advantage to become champions. After Arsenal's point loss, it's very difficult to win away in such a difficult match, Liverpool did it. Now Arsenal and other teams have a very difficult job, even miracles.
Arsenal always disappoint when they have a chance to win the title. I don't know why a winning mentality has been so difficult to forge in Arsenal players all this time, even though we all know that Arteta has done his best. Arsenal and City are already well behind Liverpool, so I'm not sure about what other scenarios would see Liverpool fail to win the title this season.
Arsenal, Nottingham, Manchester City lost their respective matches this week, as did Chelsea and Bournemouth. Newcastle is different, they are starting to pressure Manchester City with the same points. City may be uncomfortable with their current situation, but I don't think Pep Guardiola has managed to come up with a definitive solution to improve the consistency of his team's performance.
