Funny that, I am about to post a detailed experience with ChatGPT with a similar issue!.. and why I still think we are along way away from ASI!
By definition, ChatGPT is (partly moderated) Machine Learning, not AI.
There's a good book regarding (true) AI, i actually read it two decades ago.
Bauplan für eine Seele (lit.: Blueprint for a Soul, available in German language only), Reinbek: Rowohlt, 2001 (ISBN 3499611937)
A
soul in this context, that is the abstract vehicle of not physical parts of a living being as an entity.
There's a good demonstration on how to find your soul, by KRS ONE:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QqEhjPD6MYMI listened to the whole video, but imo this sounds a bit like the "logic" and rationalization of a twelve year old.
Some might see him as if he's sharing wisdom, but I don't think his talk has much depth to it
Certainly some might see him as if he's sharing wisdom, but maybe you could speculate on the average level of intelligence and openmindedness of a crowd attending a KRS-One gig. Peace out to my Hiphop nig.... uhm... brothers, tho

To me it appeared that he tried to offer the crowd to plant a precious seed in their minds. Trying to set a starting point on the long road you called wisdom, maybe.
On the other hand, the simple approach to explanation, with the help of demonstration, would make an average 12yo understand it. And maybe also some fulltime stoner on a KRS-One concert.
Now to the main point, the book:
First of all, i wouldn't recommend it to a minor.
Second, i wouldn't recommend it to a Hiphop stoner, too (Sorry guys, no offense, really).
Third, it is showing the complexity of the
immaterial system of living beings. No woke bullshit. "Wokeness" didn't even exist by the writing of this book.
It's a thought experiment of a university professor, constructing an artificial "soul" from sensory input to a (possibly) self-aware, self-managing, self learning, individual being. A tech equivalent to something like this has yet to be made.
But modern "AI's" are already like spermcells of real AI.
...and will they even integrate with quantum computing?
Which might not even be a good idea, but how do we know?
Back to topic: AI is machine learning, not AI, at the time and probably for longer times. If Moore's law would have been right, we would be a little bit ahead now, but Murphy's law is unlikely to be broken anytime soon
