Can this be called an unlucky day for Man City? Maybe that's the reason behind their defeat today, because I saw their dominance and chances were theirs, unlike when they played against Real Madrid which was boring, here Man City showed their seriousness but unfortunately from the many chances none of them were converted into goals, on the other hand Liverpool utilized their effectiveness very well especially M Salah, he only needed 14 minutes to break into City's goal. Honestly I say from now on the title belongs to the Reds.
Just calling them unlucky may not completely define their condition at this point as they aren't even looking like technically they are doing well because their performances wasn't one like they were even going to want to get a goal so that they could have a chance at probably redeeming their form and status but this season isn't one in which they will likely get the best from as finishing top four is the best they can do.
Mo Salah scored the first. liverpool then took over the match and their second goal came through a well rehearsed team goal. ManCity's defence looked disjointed and couldn’t handle Liverpool's attacks.
City were not able to boss the midfield as they so often do. Liverpool created dangerous chances as misplaced passes and defensive errors cost the team. Though pushing for a goal in the second half, city’s shots were off-target or saved by Liverpool’s keeper. liverpool, on the other hand, took their chances and were able to grab the game by their end.
Defence and midfield Coordination are perhaps where man city could build on. this loss is imposing the fact that even top-class teams can be vulnerable when the aspects of teamwork are missing.
