A big show of stability from the Real Madrid team without Jude Bellingham. Also winning the game without conceding a goal may be an indication of an improvement in defense which is something the Real Madrid supporters will be interested in seeing.
It was a comfortable win for Real Madrid despite missing a few goal scoring opportunities, they desperately need to win if they don’t want Barcelona to leave them on the standings. They both have same points but Barcelona is ahead of with goal difference. I expected Real Madrid to win even with the absence of Bellingham, the absence of one player should not affect a team that is challenging for the title so expected Madrid to win regardless. Girona are not currently in form and doesn’t look like a team that can challenge Madrid because they have been struggling since the start of the season and was easy for Real Madrid to defend against them. Well deserved win for Real Madrid to keep the title fight alive and intense.
You know Girona never seems to amuse me with their performance right from day one of this season, because you need to see thier performance some seasons ago. Of course you can never compare it with thier current performance this season, is actually very sad to have seen them performing this way. is obvious that they are gradually losing their form, I just pray they don't end up being among one of those teams that will be going for relegation this season.
However, the performance of real madrid in that very match was quite impressive even without including jude bellingham in the squared yet they still end up gaining victory over Girona, of course is a huge opportunity for real madrid to win the match. Because right from the unset I don't even see Girona being a threat to real madrid.
