Obviously, Manchester City were the recipient of the accumulated anger of the Reds following their two consecutive draws against Everton and Aston Villa. Liverpool were massively on fire in that match and would have scored more goals than they did if not that the VAR said no to some of their chances. The win tonight and Arsenals loss to West Ham seems to be an affirmation that Liverpool will be cruising to the trophy this season with little resistance on the way. I will not congratulate them yet because there are still many matches ahead.
