You are right, its location-based and situation-dependent. I can be happy with winning $100 because a regular worker here in my location will not earn that amount in a day, not even a bank manager, but for those addicted to gambling regardless of their location and situation, they will always aim for a bigger pot; they will never be satisfied with 3-digit winnings; they want something to brag about to their peers that satisfies their ego.
I agree with that, But I wasn't talking about addicted people. I know they won't be satisfied with a three-digit win; they will always look for big wins. I was talking about wealthy people or high rollers who usually look for big wins as their bankroll is big, and they place big bets as well. If someone makes a few thousand dollars per month, I am sure they won't be too excited after winning $400. This should apply everywhere in the world. But if I make $400 a month, regardless of where I am from, I will be too excited with such a win.
