As more countries launch their own central bank digital currencies, will bitcoin face increased attacks? Could a mass push for CBDSc lead to restrictions on bitcoin or will btc remain a global alternative?
Governments won't be able to "kill" BTC. It's already too late for that. What they'll do is force people to use CBDCs instead of Bitcoin. They'll impose a rule or law where it will be illegal to use Bitcoin for payments. Some governments might even limit people's use of Bitcoin by regulating the industry with a "heavy hand". It'll be easy to do this, especially when centralized exchanges dominate the market.
To actually "kill" Bitcoin, governments will need to shut down the whole Internet. And that's largely impossible. So just sit back and relax. There's nothing to worry about.
