You go with what works for you; those who watch almost every match in each season, some of them don't waste time in running research about previous matches again as they watch both team performance before either last season or just in a concluded match; they can make their prediction from there.

Some people are just like your friend; even after spending hours and days making your research on your game option, sometimes your prediction comes out wrong, while the next player who just spent a few minutes selecting random matches ends up winning. It's just all about luck sometimes, but the research just helps increase your chance of winning.

I agree, you go with what works for you right.Sometimes even this researches don't really fix or give that which is expected, you'll just try to familiarize with the game rules, odds, and game structures.
Mostly, almost everyone that uses this medium to gamble has attested to the fact that this feature is vast in transparency and creating a longer lasting experience and minimize the risks of losses.
Research creates an edge towards other gamblers, but it does not guarantee sure winning, although it increases the potentials of winning. Luck is still the key element in gambling. There are a lot of good researchers out there who gamble and often end up losing, compared to those who just got luck and decide to gamble, and end up winning it all. However, taking research should still be encourage most particularly for sports betting, at least you got to reduce your chances of losing.
Yes, aware of something before deciding it is helpful despite the fact that the outcome cannot always be predicted. In any case, possessing more information concerning some event can assist us to decrease the extent of loss that may be encountered. However, luck has not been left out considering that it plays a role in an event or venture that cannot be predicted. It is still possible for a person who does adequate research to get a less than desirable result, while on the other hand a person may get better results just by sheer luck. However, preparation still has meaning, and it is more effective if it gives a hope for a more thorough approach to a definite choice and less risk to get the result that will not be liked.
