I am very annoyed by the performance of Manchester City players today. This is Manchester City's home match. And now Manchester City is behind by 3-0. We definitely do not expect such a terrible performance from a big team like City in a home match.
Guardiola is an experienced coach. I do not know why Guardiola is using attacking tactics today. City's top scorer Haaland is not in the squad. Manchester City should have played defensively and secured 1 point from the match. But City is playing attacking tactics, as a result Liverpool created opportunities to score from counterattacks.
You really can't totally blame him though because Pep is not used to sitting back and absorbing pressure, his style of football is holding onto the ball, thereby possessing the opponent and attacking. Once he sees a team that matches him toe to toe, Pep becomes confused and has little or no other tactics left. His problem is that he has only one tactics a d once a team is able to neutralise that treat then his lost. Personally, Pep is a very wonderful coach but in my books his not the best. Being the best then you should be versatile and flexible as coach to know when a d how to change tactics because every game has its own approach.
