I always assumed it was so they wouldn't make mistakes
like this, but now that you mention it, yeah that does sound like a crafty way to avoid the address from being scraped......
Yes, it is. I would never know that if I were not interested in filtering someone's service board posts. I noticed that most of their authentication post do not contain their Bitcoin address which made me curious. It didn't take too long to understand why they did it. I guess I found similar behavior with one more account at that time.
....True, but it could be more than one person doing the same technique, or they could come up with any 'ol excuse as to why they did it. It would be something worth noting in tandem with other, more profound evidence to help solidify the theory of accounts being alts of each other.
As I said, this made me curious and I spent hours thinking why would someone be that careful if they had nothing to hide. The conclusion of my thinking was, they are too experienced in this field and probably they lost some of their accounts before for not being careful. Now, they are trying their best. Following this method is the result of their hard work to avoid being scraped.
I think they are from different countries, but I'm not 100% sure about that.
No, both are
PajeetsUsing wallet software which can create multiple address sounds more plausible, since they could avoid hassle of exchange withdraw fee and handling multiple exchange account. Although if altcoin is involved, TX fee they need to pay would rise quickly since those altcoin doesn't use UTXO-based address.
Bro, they are smarter than you. If their wallet ever gets hacked and the hacker sends all their money in one transaction, all their addresses will be in one input and they will be fucked both in the forum and by the hacker. Moreover, there is a possibility they will spend dust amounts in one TX which may connect their wallet with another account.
