I don't think it's much worse now than it already was. I don't think the bybit hack will change things much.
No wonder mixers have developed a bad reputation. Even though they’re meant for privacy, illegal transactions like these overshadow their legitimate uses.

What gives you privacy as an honest citizen also gives privacy to criminals, who take advantage of it.
Sometimes, i wonder how much ratio between ordinary people used mixers compared to the criminal group. I very often heard mixers related to the criminal case instead being used for the good.
I have seen some statistics on this on the forum, but I don't know how reliable they are (on the basis that I distrust all statistics on principle and only believe that some are more reliable than others). In any case, on this forum itself, many people have used them for a long time in an honest way for privacy.
