In terms of turning passions to profit, it is way harder to earn from a hobby that was self taught than to earn from other skills or jobs or as an employee under a boss.
I think those who are crazy enough to turn their hobbies into a source of income and attain wealth unimaginable in the end know how hard it is to be patient, consistent and persistent despite criticisms and many setbacks, to get to where they are today as successful. Whereas those who get employed and have to work to earn a salary or earn from a skill that was learned somehow, don't encounter this much difficulty that may lead to financial freedom and breakthrough.
What do you think?
Hobby should be more easy to turn into profit than even skill, though there are good similarities between them, hobby is something that is in you or even part of you, let's say your hobby is music, is actually very easy to turn it into profit by releasing an album for people to see how musically talented you are, a lot of musicians was not into it as a skill but instead they were born for it, we also have football that can be turned into profit if you have the hobby, so this two can profit you if you have the opportunity but if there are any other thing aside from music and football in hobby going for taught skill will be better profitable.
