Manchester City need to shake up the squad, they need reinforcements but that can only be done in the summer. Their recent three losses to Real Madrid and now Liverpool yesterday is not good at all. I am sure that Manchester City will make good signings in the summer to improve the squad.
Now they can't do that because in the end they only have to make use of the current squad.
Honestly, this is the worst season for Pep because apart from the Champions League they have to be eliminated first, for now they are also likely to lose the EPL if they see the situation that is happening even though for now they still leave quite a lot of matches but with their current performance especially with Liverpool who are in their best condition then I think they will really lose their current position to win the EPL.
City is currently like losing fangs which makes in the end a good performance last season must be lost just like that this season because of the erratic performance every week they feel.
It's not that in this case Pep is not trying more, it's just that their current condition seems to be in decline even though there are several changes in the squad they currently have.
