I was just reading on the FUN token and its advanced to triple its market cap in the last month or so which is impressive but its not kept up with BTC which is hard to do.

The main knock to his investment idea was the reduction in prizes given perhaps.  If we consider the above that BTC growth is outsized part of gains comparatively.  So the prizes were initially 5000 I think including the BTC prize so OP as part of his FUN token would have been gaining some yield in BTC.

Hence he would have partaken in the recent BTC growth, thats greatly reduced to the scenario now.   Even worse the reduced pay for the spins cant be written in as the spins have not been yielding or even given out for some months.   So thats looking bad, apparently its going to be fixed but at present there is some default on his whole investment thesis.
The project for that FUN token does seem to be actively improving so hope that works out.   Which tokens have outperformed BTC since OP date, Im ready to be impressed but its surely not easy to do.

You can no longer deposit FUN tokens into FreeBitco.in from external wallets. The only way to acquire FUN is to buy it directly on the site at a significantly higher price than external markets. This feels deliberate:

  •     Artificial Control: By blocking external deposits, FreeBitco.in forces users into their inflated internal market.

No Exit Strategy: If you bought FUN elsewhere, you’re stuck. If you buy it on-site, you’re overpaying.

I was also thinking about why it doesn’t make sense to invest in casino tokens or many other projects. Maybe it’s all about inflation? Like, how can something be profitable if it gets spread everywhere? At first, yeah, it’s profitable, but then when you try to cash out later, the tokens are worth nothing. Anyway, just some thoughts I’m tossing around, and I’d love to hear someone’s take on it. Seems like it makes more sense to look at projects with a deflationary model. I’m sure you’ve heard of earnm, though. What do you think? They don’t have endless tokens, and you can earn them pretty easily just by being online and doing basic tasks. Maybe this is the kind of project you could consider in the long term.

FreeBitco.in’s infinite token supply guarantees depreciation. Compare this to deflationary models like Earnm, where scarcity drives value. Here, the more FUN is minted, the less it’s worth. It's a race to the bottom.
