In terms of turning passions to profit, it is way harder to earn from a hobby that was self taught than to earn from other skills or jobs or as an employee under a boss.
I think those who are crazy enough to turn their hobbies into a source of income and attain wealth unimaginable in the end know how hard it is to be patient, consistent and persistent despite criticisms and many setbacks, to get to where they are today as successful. Whereas those who get employed and have to work to earn a salary or earn from a skill that was learned somehow, don't encounter this much difficulty that may lead to financial freedom and breakthrough.
What do you think?
There are many content creators on social media who share their hobbies and earn income. You must have found someone whose hobby is hunting using arrows/ arc posting videos on several social media and they earn income from monetizing their content. Of course all this is a long process - but worth it for the end result. Meanwhile, you also have to admit that - all employees who are working and receiving wages are those who have also gone through a long process of gaining knowledge. Both have to go through a process - but of course with different processes.
Now - what is your hobby, I think you can also make money with it if you are able to utilize social media like Instagram, Facebook, X, Youtube and some others. Even if your hobby is taking photos - you can also make money with it.
