@baeva, lost of reputation he meant I think is not about losing matches. Imagine if the 115 counts against Manchester City becomes true, and they are eventually relegated to championship, is that not lost of reputation.

In the other hand, I don't think that Manchester City needs such a great reinforcement. What is happening to Manchester City is the natural law that whatever goes up will surely come down. We cannot expect Manchester City continue to dominate the English Premier League for more years. They have really done a lot so far and they need to cool their tempo for a while and then rebuild for a better tomorrow. So, Pep shouldn't be that blamed for what is happening to Manchester city.
You are right, failure of a team to maintain its dominance for a competition is much higher than success in maintaining it. Manchester City was just waiting for time to fail to defend its title after winning 4 consecutive titles in the Premier League, so finally the long-awaited season has arrived. I think fighting to win the title is much easier than maintaining dominance for longer in the Premier League, even Pep Guardiola has admitted that.

One unique thing when Manchester City failed was that Liverpool took over and won the title. No other team can win the Premier League title from the 2017-2018 season to the 2024-2025 season apart from Manchester City and Liverpool, Liverpool even have a high chance of winning it again this season when they lead the Premier League standings with a high points gap.
That is the truth about the whole thing. It will surely happen and it is happening now. We do not expect Manchester city to maintain dominance of the English Premier league forever. As you rightly mentioned the case of Liverpool. I think Jürgen Klopp did actually tried his best, he won and was supposed to win more than he won just because he was unlucky and Manchester city was super hot. Can you just imagine that Liverpool ended a season with 97 points and yet was unable to win it. I think Arne Slot is in the order hand lucky to have met a weak Manchester city. We should also expect a surprise next season, with the way things are going, if Aston Villa and Newcastle do a little more reformation, they could contend for the EPL title next season.
