Will Leverkusen be able to get close to Bayern Munich this season?

Actually, it is not impossible, but right now you know the difference in points is actually a little too big. They are solid eight points behind Bayern Munich right now. Having that much of a difference when your opponent is Die Roten, be a big problem because that is such a big difference which might not be closed, doesn't matter how well you play.

Another thing I have to say is that this season Kompany's side is also playing really well. At least not throwing like Thomas Tuchel did in the last season. So this good performance matched with some ‘’not so great’ performance from Die Werkself is helping them staying ahead. But I am pretty sure if Xabi Alonso's squad was able to perform like they did in the last season, they would have been able to win the Bundesliga title again.

Apart from being 8 points behind league leaders Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen also got more difficult fixtures in their next five leagues games when compared to Bayern Munich. The result of the next five games in the league for both clubs I think will have a significant effect on their quest to win the league this season. Bayer Leverkusen I don't think have given up their title hopes already so I expect them to approach each of the remaining fixtures in the league like finals of a major competition but if at the end they happen to drop more points than Bayern Munich in their next five games, then it'll be a game over for Xabi Alonso and his boys
Bayern is having a really dominant season currently leading with 8 points clear and 11 matches to close for the season, I still think it is very early to determine the outcome of the season for the Bundesliga title, and I hope they continue with their current form until the end. As little as signs of fatigue towards the end of the season can rob them off their title since Bayer Leverkusen is close behind them. The next five matches seem tougher for Leverkusen, but I think no team is to be belittled as weaker teams gets more prepared to perform well against very strong teams than against fellow weaker teams. I'm rooting for Bayern this season, if not for anything but for Kane to carry his first trophy in his career and end the deadlock.
Well, I feel no pity for anyone including harry Kane, because he is not the only one that deserves winning a tittle that he has not, if Bayern Munich is the best team in the league this season, let them prove it and win the title this season, because am not a fan of gifting a player or club something for free due to pity, he has to work and be deserving of it, so that he will be appreciative of it.

So as for this upcoming fixtures of both teams, I don't think that any of them is more difficult than the other, just that it looks tough on Bayern Leverkusen due to the fact that their name is not as big as the name of Bayern Munich in football when mentioned, but with this eight point lead that Bayern Munich is leading with, the only thing that can make them lose the league right now is if they start feeling complacent thinking they have win the league, that is when they will start losing and dropping point that they shouldn't have drop, but if they stay focused and they are consistent in getting the winning, nothing is stopping them from not winning the league title this season.
