Let me also add that ledger with their blind signing was one of the reasons was latest massive hack of bybit exchange.
Blind or Clear Signing or not, it was a user error. Just like Ledger in the past, Bybit doesn't want to accept responsibility for the problems they created. It was their staff that messed up and no one else.

Blind signing is an industry-wide problem in crypto and certain networks. I have no idea who has and hasn't developed Clear Signing protocols already. But I remember seeing Ledger talking about it on Twitter and releasing their own Clear Signing feature.

If it's true that Ledger Live has Clear Signing (as they claim) but Bybit used a different tool that has Blind Signing, why is Ledger at fault for Bybit's choice of software?

Ledger's word means nothing.  What they say is irrelevant because their words cannot be trusted.
That's the consequence of them lying and they have only themselves to blame for that. But consider this, just because Ledger lied that the grass is blue and the sky is green, doesn't mean they also lied about milk being white. It's difficult to trust a liar, sure. But you should interpret everything separately and objectively with no emotions attached.
