Al Hilal became weak when Aleksandar Mitrović started getting injured and not playing. For a while, Al Hilal managed to win games, but they were inconsistent. So this season I wouldn't consider Al Hilal better than Al Ittihad. To be honest, I see Al Ittihad becoming champions this season.

But I believe that next season Al Hilal will make good signings because they won't have to spend a lot of money on Neymar. I just find it strange that Neymar is playing well after leaving Al Hilal. Maybe the Al Hilal coach made a mistake by not letting Neymar play in the Saudi league.

My guess was way off for the Al Ittihad vs Al Hilal match, I thought Al Hilal would win this match even without Mitrovic. Actually Al Hilal as usual dominated the match, they also had many opportunities than Al Ittihad. It's just that every opportunity they had could not be converted well, for example M. Leonardo, he had many opportunities but failed in the final finish. It seems that this young player is not mature enough to be a successful scorer, he still needs experience to be more established. With this result Al Ittihad is a little safer by widening the points gap, but Laurent Blanc still has to maintain the consistency of his team until the end of the match in this competition, so that they can reclaim the league title from Al Hilal. While Al Hilal, I'm not sure they will target a center forward again next season, unless they win Mitrovic and M. Leonardo are no longer consistent and reliable. Talking about Neymar, he has definitely left and played for one of the clubs in his country. Let's just see Al Hilal's progress until the end of this season, after all there are still 13 matches left.
