Crypto has many types. When someone says crypto is a scam, I assume that person is not wrong because what he said is based on his experience with a particular type of crypto.
If he shouts that Bitcoin is a scam, that is where I need to explain so that he does not get lost in the darkness of experience and does not hit all the same.
Let this be brief but that is my thought to convey that Bitcoin is BTC and crypto has many types.
It's base on the preference of what is done with the particular asset be it Bitcoin or any other crypto asset although the concept of scam that is tied to some of these altcoins is because of the way one can lose lots of funds due to the fact they are lots of shitcoins out there that the owners are willing to dump or pump the coin at anytime and this action can leave users who have portion of these coins to lose their money within the twinkle of an eye.
