Have you thought about keeping a record of bets, monthly wins and losses, to track this?.

Is such record-keeping important to you, or do you not consider it crucial for your economy?.

I once did that, and I feel frustrated from them on I stopped doing that. Unless you are comfortable with the amount you allocated and the result that you will see, which many gamblers are not.
I don't see the benefit of tracking your bets because the fact is you cannot beat the house, and gambling is not something you are going to make a profit, so why track it?

I think that a high percentage of people who bet frequently tend to avoid the truth. This is common; it is similar to when someone doesn't want to go to the doctor for fear of receiving bad news, and this is an irrational fear. As long as you face the problems, you are on the right path, and the solution will always be easier. So saying that nobody wants to see how much they have lost is a symptom of a bigger problem since they don't want to accept the possibility that something is wrong.
