Have you thought about keeping a record of bets, monthly wins and losses, to track this?.

Is such record-keeping important to you, or do you not consider it crucial for your economy?.

It's nice of you to share a python script, although I'm not sure how many people here will ever use this sort of program. I'd say that you're better off tracking your session, depending on the type of gambling you're doing, rather than trying to record individual bets. If you're betting on slots then it's a bit of an exercise in futility, because the casino already tells you that you're inevitably going to lose money over the long run and every time you play is just going to increase the chances against you being profitable. Sports bets might be a bit easier to track, but most people will only do a few each session and it might be easier to use something like Google sheets to manage that instead. Poker players are another group that may want to track bets, but there are lots more advanced software out there which will do better analysis for you.
