Gambling is not a scam, but due to the way most people gamble that makes it look like a scam for Tham. Because as a good gambler once you gamble responsibly you wouldn't experience any losses in gambling, it's essential to only gamble with what you can afford to lose because gambling is not a get rich quick it's just a game of luck so is better to gamble for fun than chasing after losses.
It is wrong to say if we gamble responsibly we won't experience any losses in gambling, gambling responsibly is just to make you know your limit when to gamble and when not secondly money to gamble with shouldn't be money for family up keep it should also to be we can afford to loss just as you said, you should know that winning in gambling is not certain no mater how responsibly you can be.
Also there is nothing like gambling for fun and keep on losing money and still say is for fun if you need fun there is places to go get it not when gambling, you can watch football that's fun, you can go for culture and tourism and catch fun but certainly not when gambling.
