Manchester City is not really missing much of the squad, it's almost the same players that played last season and won the league. Although the Arab owner will pump on more £ in the summer, in my opinion, I think Pep needs to go on sabbatical, take enough rest so he can actually be over his divorce case, City poor run of form almost started after his divorce saga. The man might actually be going through some emotional trauma, is ay this because this is not the Pep we knew.
Guardiola had problems in his personal life, not the players of the team, I don't think he changed the training process after the divorce, or anything else, it's just that the team had a crisis. Maybe everything happened the other way around and because of the problems in the team, Guardiola was in a bad mood and this affected him in the family. We won't know, but it's not so important now, we need to move on and Guardiola is going to bring new young players to the team.
The problem has always been "we have won a lot, we do not need to work too hard anymore" by the players and nothing more.
