Observation - It’s been going on as a gossip or will I say argument.
That players of nowadays are more focus on making money rather than playing for passion like the old days.
I also can strongly say that passion for football ends in Ronaldo and Messi ERA.
We'll I think it is what it is because this times people are more consistent in things that brings them money ratter than doing it for love or passion, it's not necessarily in sports only mostly all areas of life everyone is sticking to making that money not because of passion but because they need the money, I think this is because the world challenges are becoming so hectic and uncomfortable and the only way to stay comfortable is having so much money to profer solution to your needs and demands.
I have said it before that since gambling started in 1998 surprise results started to happen soon after especially Serie A the Italian best football league which before gambling had always results as expected. This to reinforce that it has nothing to do with passion as there are great football players that play with passion still like Bellingham for example and that is why it has everything to do with gambling which influences referees which in turn influences the outcome of an event. This is the sole reason of why surprise results always happen nowadays.
