United is not doing well financially and that's the reason they're cutting jobs and maybe why they want to get rid of Rashford and Casemiro in the summer because of their heavy wages. So I understand completely why they don't want to spend heavily on experienced players because it's going to cost them more money. Also, I don't think it's such a bad idea because they've other experienced players in the team, so it's going to be a touch of experience and young talents.
The thing is that ten Hag got very good funding in the summer in the off-season and now I think that Amorim has a condition that in order to form a new team, he must first sell those players that he does not intend to use in the team, so Manchester United has already let some players go and wants to sell some more. Cutting of expenses is healthy for the team especially the way the team hasn't been progressing lately but why cut of meal for the staffs? Has Manchester United got to that level that they aren't going to allow the staff have access to what they were entitled as they work and one board person is saying they can save $1m a year for that drastic decision, if they have been winning trophy all this while, would they have done that in the first place, this decisions are hard.
They should focus on building the team and most importantly the players that aren't doing well the past season, I can mention many players in Manchester United that need to be sold but the Ten Hag has let them hang around for years in the team, they should have been in another place but because of his misplace priority, they are still in that club. I saw a headline about Ten Hag of not going back to football manager role again and I just laugh, took him long before he realized.
